I experienced my magic moment when I was sitting in the audience, watching JR run so hard on the hamster wheel. I looked around at the audience and there was a big group all in pinks shirts in the stands. They were riveted.
I thought to myself, “here’s this guy running to the point of vomiting to make a point of how lazy we can get with ourselves and our futures. Then here’s this group of vivacious and thirsty people that have this huge language and cultural barrier. Those issues don’t matter to them. They’re all in pink t-shirts and they all get it. Even though they don’t understand all the words, they get it. When I see this group in Miami, I’m going have to move over an entire section because they will have doubled or tripled in size, by sheer faith and trust in their leaders and Market America!”
I realized that all I had to do is go home, redo my Goal Statement, plaster it all over my life and move forward. I just have to get up and MOVE!
That was my “ah-ha!” moment. Get up and do something different. Keep doing that and add something new each week. Keep doing that and watch your world start to change.
I’ve been home for two days now and already I feel like I was trapped with no way out in my own mouse maze. It was like it was 100 degrees outside and I’d been wearing a jacket, a very heavy, wet, hot jacket that was buttoned up to my chin and fit poorly. That jacket was my life and all my excuses. In just this short amount of time, it’s like I’ve thrown it away and now I can literally feel the cool breeze hitting my skin. I look at that jacket and think to myself “all I had to do was unbutton the thing and it would have dropped to the floor. It was such a heavy load!”

I wanted to take a moment to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the time you (Loren, Marc and Andrew) spent with my team at the close of the Convention. The team is buzzing like never before, and several of us have already registered for Elizabeth’s 12-month challenge!
Convention was absolutely AMAZING and all of us now have tons of great information swimming around in our heads. I have to say, many of us still had a little left to learn! We all learned different things from our time with you, most importantly edification, coming from the heart, caring for everyone equally, and the art of being humble.
We had our Terrific 10 call on Monday morning and we each shared one nugget from Convention, as well as how we plan to implement these tools in our businesses so that we can hold each other accountable. We talked about SHOP.COM, shopbox, using social media to recruit, Dr. Schner’s presentation about coming from WHY we do what we do, Jim and Amber’s presentation on building, and so much more. We spent a considerable amount of time discussing what we learned from you:

Even though this was my 12th International Convention, I have to tell you that you (JR), Loren, and the Corporate Team completely changed the game for everyone in attendance of this year! You outdid yourselves! Our team worked harder and more passionately than ever, all across the country, to get record numbers of people there. We were calling stable and waiting people down to the final hours during the drive down, as well as every prospect in the funnel – including prior prospects whose timing was off in the past. We got so many people there on the promise that this event would change their lives, and it did!
Going into the event, we had a daily call line challenge to see who could invite the most people and get them to make the decision to attend in the last two weeks, and it had amazing results. Without a shadow of a doubt, this event changed more lives than I’ve ever seen! I believe this will catapult so many people’s businesses to the next level and beyond. The passion that you spoke with was not only inspiring but also contagious. I received calls non-stop on Sunday from people ranging from brand new to the business, all the way to veterans. The common denominator was that they couldn’t stop talking about the event all day – and they couldn’t stop telling everyone they know about their future and the opportunity.
This event, greater than any other in my opinion, inspired people to take action. That is truly incredible and I believe it will change the playing field completely. Thank you for what you do. I want you to know from our family and our team that it does not go unnoticed. We appreciate it so much. We have been and are in the wheelbarrow, and we will be the change you and I both want to see.

Every convention, I am humbled by the entire event. I am reminded of both where I came from (a place with no opportunity and the expectation to fail) and how far we have come – into a place of support, growth and limitless possibilities. It is a reminder that the time and effort we put into building this business is truly more than investment in our family and ourselves; it is an investment in the dreams of thousands of people who we do not even yet know. The health and growth of this company is inevitable. I physically feel like jumping out of my skin when I visualize where it will be in five years, and the number of lives it will change forever. You are, undoubtedly, leaving the best legacy of all as you achieve your own dreams and are kind enough to take us with you. I am so grateful to you for taking your leap of faith to build the business and also for keeping it growing for us.
We came from nothing – I couldn’t even afford to feed my family. We discovered the business through the WebCenters program, which helped us to create serious cash flow to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars. We are so lucky to have Gary Rogers on our team – he has become our mentor and also the father that I never had. He coached us to the Professional Coordinator Pin Level last month and we are on our way to National Supervising Coordinator by next August. The relationships we have built through this company – like the one we have with Gary – are the kind of relationships that some only hope for.
As I grow, I always want to give back as much of myself as possible. Because of this, I got certified to train on the WebCenters opportunity to help others create cashflow while building wealth. I’m also working with Jeremy Fennema to help do more with field development! The best way to give back is to share information and tools to help people experience the limitless possibilities that are out there. So many people are knocked down to chopped liver on a daily basis and we have to work extra hard to help them believe that they are better.
Thank you for believing in me when nobody else did.
